In 2001, CYS took its first step as Choose Your Shoes in Rotterdam. With a mission. Namely to improve and maintain the mobility of people with foot problems. We do this by supporting companies in orthopaedic shoe technology in their shoe production. Since 2008, CYS' head office has been located in Heythuysen, Limburg.
Meanwhile, CYS has become the market leader in the production of custom-made orthopaedic shoes. CYS supplies more than 25 countries and employs more than 750 professionals.
CYS not only makes high-quality and contemporary orthopaedic shoes, but also offers convenience, peace of mind and security to orthopaedic shoe consultants, through a simple and smooth ordering and delivery process.
Our strength lies in the production of highly complex orthopaedic shoes, in which we are constantly looking for innovations. By deploying our resources thoughtfully and staying at the forefront of technological developments, we strive not only to stay ahead of our competition, but also to improve our capacity and efficiency.
After more than 20 years of existence, CYS can not only look back with pride, but also look to the future with confidence.
Our first production facility is located in the Philippines, north of the capital Manila. About 600 CYS-trained professionals work here and make each shoe to the requested specifications with great dedication.
In addition, a second production facility was built a few years ago in Sao João de Madeira, Portugal's shoe city. More than 100 specialists already work here.
The CYS production capacity is by far the largest in the world, with a production capacity of more than 1,250 pairs of custom-made orthopaedic shoes per week.
